North Carolina’s native oyster, Crassostrea virginica, needs your help! Your donation through this symbolic adoption will provide the home that baby oysters need to survive.

Your adoption comes with short, quirky updates about your oyster as well as a variety of benefits at different adoption levels. You can also adopt an oyster in honor of a friend!

Adopt an oyster, $5

In three years, your oyster will be all grown up, filtering 50 gallons of water a day and providing a home for shrimp, crabs and fish.
